Stinging Nettle Bare Root Divisions (2 Pack)

$14.99

Hardy perennial herb valued for use in fertilizer teas, composting, chop-and-drop mulching, herbal use, and edible greens. The young leaves are commonly cooked or blanched to remove their natural sting and used like spinach in soups, stews, quiches, and other dishes. Nettles can also be dried for tea, preserving their nutrients for later use, or blended into powders for use in smoothies and recipes. Blanched nettles freeze well for long-term storage. They are also widely used in traditional herbal teas and garden fertiliser preparations.

Fast growing and vigorous once established. For gardens, permaculture systems, and soil-building projects. 2 bare roots per order..
