Cornfield Half-Runner

I received a package of seeds from a woman who was retiring from seed saving. These beans were included and I have not been able to find very much info on them.

I made the mistake of thinking half runner meant they did not climb very high. Not so! They outgrew the Yukon Chief Corn by leaps and bounds. Half-runner beans are ones which have vines that range anythere from a few feet long to over ten feet.

Cornfield beans are traditionally planted with the corn. From my observations, I think this is a greasy bean. 25 seeds.
