Heirloom Seed Donations from Garden Faerie Botanicals: Eligibility and Process
Garden Faerie Botanicals delights in sharing seeds and tubers to help heirloom plants spread! Donations to seed swaps, seed libraries, and other community garden organizations are considered upon request.
The Giving Garden Guidelines
To keep the botanical magic flowing smoothly, a few guidelines apply:
The Gift of Feedback: If a donation was previously received, please ensure a review for some of those seed varieties was left on the website, Facebook, or Google My Business. Just as a garden needs tending, this small business relies on feedback to grow. Future requests are unlikely to be fulfilled if past gifts haven’t been acknowledged with some form of a review.
Shipping & Handling: While the seeds are a gift, the journey to their new home requires a small fee. A flat shipping and handling fee of $10 applies to all donations. This covers the postage and the time required to hand-package the treasures.
Quality Over Bulk: The focus here is on providing high-quality genetic material rather than mass quantities. Because the priority is on specialized heirloom genetics, Garden Faerie Botanicals does not provide seeds in large, bulk supplies.
How to Apply
Donations are not automatic and are only considered after a formal request is reviewed. To begin, please fill out the seed donation application form. Once the request is received, it will be reviewed to see if a botanical match can be made.
