An old oval Maine heirloom dry bean. Beautiful deep burgundy-red bean with mottled specks. Very reliable, early, productive and it swells up large when cooked. Very similar to Taylor Horticulture beans yet, these are a darker burgundy colour with specks. 80-90 dtm for dry beans.
