A compact Genovese-type variety with a very high leaf-to-stem ratio. Short internodes create naturally bushy plants without leggy or rangy growth. Leaves are large and carry a classic Italian basil flavour.
This type lacks the minty aroma sometimes found in other Italian basils. It is uniform, vigorous, and commonly chosen by commercial growers in Italy for its consistency and strong flavour. The compact growth habit makes it well suited to pots, containers, and market production. 60-75 dtm. seed contains craft( sorry). 50 seeds.
