Seed Savers Exchange says this: Smooth leaved kale. Short, low-growing plants with bluish-green leaves and light green to white petioles. Very good, sweet flavor. Leaves are prostrate. Striking contrast between blue-green leaves and whitish veins. Moderate leaf blistering. Spatulate leaves with undulate and slightly dentate margins. High bloom. Non-pubescent. Very uniform, healthy plants when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Plants reached about 1′ tall and 2-2.5′ wide. Leaves 1-1.5′ long by 5-8″ wide.
