A rare heirloom from St. Augustine, Florida, that was brought over from Spain in 1763. Beautiful yellow fruits grow from 1-4 inches in length and are lantern shaped. Intense heat that is similar to a Habanero but sweeter and tangier. It has one of the most unique flavours in the world. The scoville on this pepper is 100,000 to 300,000! Grows to 4 feet tall with an abundance of peppers. They are a culinary favourite to cook with and used for spice mixes, marinades and sauces. 73 dtm. 10 seeds per package.

To grow peppers from seed:

Start Indoors: Begin 8-10 weeks before the last frost date.
Prepare Seeds: Soak seeds in warm water for a few hours to speed germination.
Planting: Use seed-starting soil in small pots or trays. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep.
Warmth and Light: Keep soil at 25–30°C (77–86°F). Use a heat mat if needed. Place under grow lights or in a sunny window.
Watering: Keep soil moist, not soggy. Cover with plastic wrap until seedlings appear.
Transplanting: Harden off and plant outdoors after frost, spacing plants 12–24 inches apart in rich, well-draining soil.
Peppers need full sun, regular watering, and fertilizing during growth.
